Bukuganda Publication was established in 2009. The name combines the words ‘Buku’ and ‘Ganda’, which simply means ‘Book’ and ‘Multiple’ in Malay to endue the spirit of pursuing multiple growths in terms of quality and quantity.

 

We believe that there is no limit to the pursuit of knowledge and the possibilities of developing business.

 

As a publisher that produces a wide range of publications, we are motivated to explore various types of books including Financial Management, Life Inspirations, Social Humanity, Fashion & Lifestyle, Health Care, Biographies, Art & Literature, besides many more.

 

Authors we have worked with include Malaysia’s World No.1 badminton men’s singles player Dato Lee Chong Wei, Taiwan Famous Relationship Expert Liao Hui Ying, Malaysia Tax Wise Expert LL Koong, Taiwan Lifestyle Designer Kiefer Wang, Malaysia Famous Orthopedist Dr. Lee Joon Kiong, Malaysia Chinese Writer Hoo Joo Chuan, Malaysia Dale Carnegie Training Executive Director, Daryl Chew and more.

 

Through creating the opportunity to read, knowledge sharing and accumulating wisdom, we aim to provide the book that readers need.

 

From planning, editing, design, sales & marketing to distribution we pursue for professional & perfection throughout the entire publishing process. Through the power of words and design coupled with marketing plans we open up a vast vision and pleasant moment on reading.

 

We believe a platform to share is crucial in order to widen our vision and broaden our minds. This is why we try to explore and collaborate within parties from the same, or cross industries.

 

In 2012, Bukuganda and Gembak starz (A well known Malaysia Comic Publishing Group who sold their copyright to China, Indonesia and Korea) published the comic “Becoming A Champion”, which was adapted from the biography of World No.1 Badminton Men’s Singles Player Dato Lee Chong Wei “Dare To Be A Champion”, which achieved excellent results.

 

In 2011, the book entitled “A Travelling with K” by Taiwan Lifestyle Designer Kiefer Wang was published. Kiefer was the first Taiwanese Author we ever worked with, who was also First Prize Winner of the Kaohsiung City Government Bureau of Cultural Affairs Literature grant in prose section.In the same year and authorized by Chiuko Publication, we published “Love” by Taiwan Famous Relationship Expert Liao Hui Ying, and Liao become the second Taiwanese author of Bukuganda Publication.Besides sharing experience and knowledge through publ we attempted to explore the market through Seminar and Workshop.

 

In 2014, Bukuganda launched a “New Age GST” Malaysia Tour Project 2.0, a seminar that covered 42 cities in Malaysia aimed to help Malaysians with the new taxation system - GST. Malaysia Tax Wise Expert Mr. LL Koong and Melody Fm DJ Mr. Wang Chun Pin were invited as the speakers. This marked the very first time our published materials and events were brought together. The next year, Dale Carnegie Training Malaysia’s “Work Happiness” Seminar was held in Malaysia. It was a training targeted to build corporate leadership and enhance job satisfaction among employees.Bukuganda Branding is a Branding and Marketing Consult with over 20 years of experience in Corporate Rebranding, Packaging Design, besides Sales and Marketing Strategy. The collaboration between Bukuganda Publication and Bukuganda Branding has successfully built competitive advantage within the industry.

 

Clients we have worked with include Fashion & Lifestyle Magazine “Men’s Uno”, “Sisters”, Dato’ Lee Chong Wei’s Wedding, Taiwan-based 7-11, Sapporo Beer and more.

 

Bukuganda has expanded our territory from Malaysia and Singapore to an international platform by attending International Book Exhibitions such as the Taipei International Book Exhibition, Hong Kong Book Fair and Beijing International Book Fair. We aim to tap into opportunities to develop businesses and exchange information that will infuse the publishing industry with strength and vitality.

 

Subsequently, Bukuganda never stops planning and discovering new projects such as exploring world heritage cities - Penang and Malacca, coming up with a yearbook of exquisite gourmet in Kuala Lumpur entitled “KL Gourmet Chic” and “The Road To ASEAN”, an ongoing project consisting enlightment and analysis of regional economic trends and development.Together, thanks to our curiosity that knows no bounds coupled with the crave to seek knowledge; we bring to our readers the unlimited sea of information.
